Day 2: Begin the Churchill Adventure
Have an early breakfast at the hotel and then board the transfer bus for the short trip to the airport departures. The flight to Churchill is two and a half hours. Upon arrival, you'll take an interpretative transfer into Churchill, seeing points of interest highlighted by the bus driver throughout the journey. You may also stop at the Polar Bear Holding Facility on the way.
After the tour, arrive at your hotel in the town and enjoy the rest of the day as you please, getting to know the area. You might visit Churchill's Itsanitaq Museum, home to a huge collection of Inuit artifacts, and wander around the many unique shops that Churchill has to offer. If you fancy taking to the tundra you could try out dog sledding, or to gain a very privileged perspective of the region you could book a helicopter tour.
