What was your most memorable moment?
In one single day when we saw a head of walruses (50+) in the morning, and saw a couple of belugas in the afternoon while we were kayaking and a polar bear and seals (from far) during the night.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
All went really smoothly. I did both land-based excursions and kayakings, enjoyed both. The most memorable excusion will have to be the excounter with a large herd of walruses.
Tell us about the expedition team
Great team. The expedition leader Philip is the one that most standing out with his encyclopedia knowledge of Spitzbergen and artical wildlife. My favourite lecture was delivered by Andy on the topic of whales, clearly she was very passionate and knowledgeable about this subject.
Tell us about the MV Plancius
Great services, Great food 10 out of 10. I would definite recommend this ship to anyone who would like to cruise in the arctic circle.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to The Arctic?
Go for a smaller ship rather the super cruiser
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes I see an ever urgent need to action on climate change
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
We had a lot gear - kayak gear plus the zodiac gear, make the cabin a bit stuffy and smelly. Hope there is a better solution than stuffing all the gear into a small cabin.
