Impossible to choose. Obviously all polar bear sightings but arctic fox carrying off eggs from bird cliffs in last moment of last zodiac trip was fabulous

Crew’s professionalism made them (nearly always) a huge success. (Some crew members had more pleasure in rough water than I did!)
Tell us about the expedition team
Only complaint I had was that the teams recognition of some passengers’ difference in mobility meant that at start there was less organisation in place for being offered what came to be called the ‘short walk group’) By the end this was well catered for and made life for me (2 new knees and needing to slightly self protect) very helpful.

Upgraded, as was everyone, toa solo cabin, was fabulous.

The small numbers - only 83 instead of 140 - was a boon.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to The Arctic?
Don’t try and get to and from Svalbard until airlines have sorted themselves out!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
As this was first trip since early 2020 it felt astonishingly freeing up. Suddenly the world opened up again. That really changes my outlook on life
