Overall the trip was very good. G Adventures' personnel couldn't do enough to make everyone's trip special. The lectures and activities were interesting and the ship was very comfortable and clean. The food was fantastic! Our fellow travellers were nice especially the Canadian youngsters who were full of fun and enthusiasm. As for the wildlife - as Steven {one of the guides on the ship] said we were very, very lucky with the weather and wildlife viewings. We were not disappointed in any way.

Swoop provided a very good service overall although the information regarding the bus/taxi transfer to our cabin was not up to standard; in fact, it was poor. We arrived in the early hours of the morning, tired after our long trip, to find only one coach had been laid on, with none to follow, and no sign of any taxis when we were told that taxis would be available. It was chaotic; all the passengers from the plane, together with their luggage, were pushed and squeezed into the coach - not a pleasurable experience and one we would not wish to repeat. We would also question the safety of the passengers with the coach being so overcrowded We felt that when it came to this part of Swoop's advice we were let down and were disappointed that at the last moment, when we had asked for expert help, it wasn't forthcoming.
