You chose a/an Svalbard Quest experience. How was that experience?
Very pleased to have booked this trip
How were your experiences on the guided excursions?
Loved seeing the walruses. The varied terrain, walking on the tundra, seeing arctic fox. magical.
How would you describe {vessel.title} if talking to somebody potentially interested in going to the Arctic, and what tips would you pass on?
Very comfortable ship. Excellent crew. Staff friendly. Food plentiful, varied and tasty. I was very happy with the ship. Some people might find going up and down stairs difficult, so might be worth mentioning that there are no lifts!
If Swoop arranged some of your travel before/after your voyage/group trip. How did we do?
Everything was fine
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Very enjoyable trip. Pleased I went. Even more conscious about environment, climate change etc. Lovely that there was no internet access so away from all emails/texts/phone
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to the Arctic?
Wrap up warm.! Make sure you go with layers and waterproof trousers, thick socks. Be prepared not to have any access tot the outside world. A good pair of binoculars/camera would be worth taking
