Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Definitely felt safe and secure. The staff helping at the gangway was skilled and efficient. Boarding and disembarking from the zodiacs was clearly a well oiled operation and extremely well run. My favorite zodiac excursions were where we did a "wagon wheel" to view walruses that had hauled out, floating near resting beluga whales, and exploring Alkefellet cliffs.
Tell us about the expedition team
The Expedition Team was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and skilled. Scotty was amazing as the expedition photographer, Woody was a great leader that made sure we had plenty of time on the zodiacs and explored some wonderful locations. And I enjoyed cruising with Ema, Miko, and Ryan on varous excursions!
Tell us about the Ocean Adventurer
The Ocean Adventurer was not as nice as the previous ship I had been on, SeaVenture with Polar Latitudes. The cabins were smaller and the upper bunk was extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The food was medicore and the bar menu could have had a wider selection of drinks and spirits. However, the hotel and restaurant staff was amazing and took such good care of the passengers. They saw all needs were met and addressed concerns swiftly and effectively. Shout out to Sharma and Oliver at the bar, and Richard in the restaurant, who all took extra special care of me!
